The full dates are as follows

Davis Cup by BNP Paribas 2009

World Group 1st Round 6-8 March
World Group Quarterfinals 10-12 July
World Group Semifinals and Play-offs 18-20 September
World Group Final 4-6 December

Fed Cup by BNP Paribas 2009

World Group and World Group II 1st Round 7-8 February
World Group Semifinals and Play-offs 25-26 April
World Group Final 7-8 November

ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti said; "Just as in Davis Cup the Fed Cup Final will provide an outstanding season finale The 2009 calendar as it stands sees Davis Cup and Fed Cup rounds spread out evenly throughout the year".

Davis Cup by BNP Paribas is the largest annual international team competition in sport with 127 nations entered in 2008. The title sponsor is BNP Paribas, the Official Bank of Davis Cup. International sponsors are Rolex Official Timekeeper, Turismo Madrid Official Tourist Destination, Hugo Boss Official Men's Fashion Clothing Sponsor, Kia Motors Official Car and NH Hoteles Official Hotel International partners are NTT Communications Official Managed Hosting Partner, Wilson Sporting Goods Official Ball and TTK Official Licensing Partner.

Fed Cup by BNP Paribas is the largest annual international team competition in women's sport with 89 nations entered in 2008. The event was established in 1963 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the ITF. The title sponsor is BNP Paribas the Official Bank of Fed Cup, Rolex Official Timekeeper and BoscoSport Official Clothing. Sponsor are international sponsors and Wilson Sporting Goods Official Ball an international partner.

The draw for the 2009 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas will take place on Tuesday 23 September in Madrid at the BNP Paribas offices at 1130 local time. This follows the 2008 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Final and 2008 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas semifinal which will both be staged in the Spanish capital in September.
