ISAF - Rockley International Joins ISAF's Connect to Sailing Initiative

Rockley International is one of the leading providers of sail training in Europe with seven activity centres across France and the UK Offering both day and residential sailing courses with a committed focus on youth. Rockley's reputation is based on a long record of providing the highest quality of sailing instruction equipment safety and fun.

Rockley International is fully recognized by the national governing body for sailing in the UK, the Royal Yachting Association RYA, and runs courses from learn to sail through to instructor training. In addition to dedicated sail training Rockley International also offers family activity holidays and school activity trips.

Speaking on the partnership Peter Gordon Managing Director of Rockley International said; 'Rockley is delighted to be supporting ISAF's Connect to Sailing project. We have been introducing children and adults to sailing for more than 30 years and we look forward to working with ISAF to promote this exciting initiative. About Connect to Sailing

Connect to Sailing is a global initiative led by ISAF to increase participation in sailing with a focus on youth. Connect to Sailing is based upon grass roots activities to achieve strong and lasting foundations for sailing programmes. It aims to expand and develop participation in sailing by attracting newcomers to the sport and retaining both newcomers and existing participants.

About the Connect to Sailing Partners

Rockley International joins Laser Performance Hobie Cat Europe and Hyde Sails who have all been involved with Connect to Sailing since the partner programme started in 2006.

Laser Performance are the largest dinghy manufacturer in the world and are particularly well-known for the production of the massively-popular Laser dinghy used at the Olympic Games since 1996. Hobie Cat Europe are builders of boats and equipment for sailing, kayaking and fishing and are best known for their multihulls and the so-called 'Hobie way of life'. Hyde Sails, founded over 40 years ago, produce 30'000 sails every year for boats of all shapes and sizes.
