The Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) has settled on Lausanne for its head office. Members of the Executive Board took their decision today at an extraordinary assembly in the presence of their President, Bruno Grandi.
Twice in the past, the FIG looked to the City of Neuchatel as its final destination. Opposition delaying construction of the headquarters by two years and, an opportunity to move into the Olympic capital, were the two determining factors of the Executive's to vote for Lausanne.
