WADA is pleased to provide for your comments a draft of a new Standard, the International Standard for the Protection of Privacy.

Given the importance of ensuring proper treatment of personal data within the anti- doping world, and the need to have sound guidelines in this respect, this document has been drafted by a group of experts mandated by WADA and following numerous meetings with the Council of Europe and various data protection offices.
